Looks pretty legit from here. Domain was registered in 1997, site has a PR of 5, and there are over 4,000 pages index'd in Google as well.

That sounds reasonably legit, I might try it and see.
I know there is another site called HomePages Friends that does a similar thing but only with Yahoo.
