Yahoo Teams Up With Newspapers?

Apparently Yahoo is starting to work out deals to allow advertisers to publish ads in newspapers. You can read more here: Yahoo Teams Up With Newspapers to Sell Ads : ISEdb.COM

I wish they would get their online ad service off the ground, I signed up for news and updates on that to test it. I have not even got any "news" from them on it. Yahoo is will never be #1 again in this lifetime. Also I think Google canned their newspaper ventures if I'm not mistaken.

I signed up with them and I never got anything saying I was accepted or rejected. That was around 2 months ago.

It looks like Yahoo is serious about its falling profits. This is a good move considering the mass appeal of newspapers. However it would have been nice if Yahoo agreed into a partnership with e-paper sites which are gaining much appeal nowadays.
