Windows 7 Beta Now Available for Download

Finally after lot of buzz about the Windows 7 beta and it’s leak on different torrent sites , Steve Ballmer the CEO of Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 7 beta in the CES 2009 on 7th January 2009.

The release has been available on TechNet and MSDN and would be available for public beta later this week this is on 9th January 2009.

Ah...

As for me I have Windows 7 Beta 1 as of today. I downloaded it yesterday, and successfully installed it without any problems with drivers, applications, and anything you can think of. I'm happy so far, and I think you all should see install it whether a virtual machine, or a fresh install (upgrade is not the best option till release).

Has anyone else tried Windows 7? If so, how is it?

Im in the middle of downloading it to try it out. Spent a little while backing everything up :P

The technet and MSDN subscribers can download the Windows 7 beta release from the technet and MSDN sites.
