One big content site or many smaller ones?

I'm curious how those who are successful with Adsense do this. I've heard those who say it's better to have one huge site and those who say it's better and easier to have lots of smaller sites. I currently have 7 content sites that I am working on and consistently adding content. I have two that get the most Adsense income over the other five. I'm thinking maybe I should work harder on expanding those two?

It depends on what kind of websites you are running. If they are static websites which need one time set-up, it's better to maintain several nice and optimized mini sites. Don't put eggs in one basket.

But if you are running blogs which need regular update, I thinks it' more manageable to have one blog which we really focus on. I used to have several blog and I ended up not updating them after some weeks.
